
Audley Cricket Club honored its rising stars during the annual Junior Presentation Night held on Saturday, 22 November 2025. The evening was dedicated to celebrating the hard work, skill, and sportsmanship of the club's junior players, with individual trophies awarded for batting, bowling, all-round performance, and coaches' choices across age groups ranging from Under 8s to Under 14s.
A Night of Achievements
The ceremony highlighted standout performances from the 2025 season. In the Under 8s category, Seth Rogers took home the prestigious Rotary Shield for All Round Performance. Vinnie Nixon and Esme Beckett secured the Batting and Bowling awards respectively, while Bertie Massey received the Coaches Award.
The Under 9s Girls team saw Evelyn Rutter named the All Round Performance winner. Elsie Jervis (Batting) and Ruby Gibson (Bowling) were recognized for their skills on the pitch, and Ella Rogers was honored with the Coaches Award.
In the Under 10s division, George Massey was awarded the Rotary Cup for All Round Performance. The Batting award went to Joseph Beckett, with Xander Lyons taking the Bowling trophy and Hugo Adams receiving the Coaches Award. The club also recognized the Under 10s Development squad, where Seth Rogers picked up another All Round Performance award, alongside Owen Thomas (Batting), Eoin McCann (Bowling), and Finn McCann (Coaches Award).
Rising Through the Ranks
As the age groups progressed, the competition remained fierce.
Under 11s: Harry Dudau claimed the All Round Performance title. Sophie McIver won Batting, Joseph Beckett secured the Bowling award, and Elise Gibson took home the Coaches Award.
Under 12s: Jake Turnock was named the All Round performer. Henry Lane (Batting), Aaron Johnson (Bowling), and Gabriel Chen (Coaches Award) completed the winners' list.
Under 13s: Jack Parsons was awarded the Jean Mayer Trophy for All Round Performance. Charlie Pass took the Batting title, Cain Gilbert won Bowling, and Artie Lyons received the Coaches Award.
The senior juniors in the Under 14s category saw Finley Shepherd win the Dave Roberts Trophy for Best All Round Performance. Charlie Pass continued his strong form winning the Batting award, Jack Parsons took the Bowling trophy, and George Lawler was recognized with the Coaches Award.
Special Recognition
Two special trophies were presented to conclude the major individual awards. The Timberlink Trophy was awarded to Lexie McIver. Meanwhile, the Tim Salt Memorial Trophy, awarded to the junior who best exemplifies "The way the game is played," was presented to Aiden Johnson.
In addition to the individual silverware, medals were distributed to all players to commemorate their participation in the 2025 season.
