It is with great sadness that Audley CC has been informed by her loving family of Joyce’s passing. Both Joyce and her late departed husband Ken were honorary Life members of the club. Ken for his service as a player, captain, groundsman and selector for 40 plus years. Joyce, along with others, for providing refreshments for over 50 years. Indeed she was still providing cakes at the start of the current season.
Even after Ken’s passing Joyce remained an ardent supporter, attending games and mixing with the followers both home and away.

The club would like to show its respect with a minute’s silence during the tea interval at the Second team game against Eccleshall (14/06), then at the First team fixture against Leek on (21/06).

Joyce’s funeral details are:

Friday 27th June 2025 12.40 pm at Bradwell Crematorium followed by a celebration of her life at Audley Cricket Club, where refreshments will be provided.
